Outside The Box
The objective of this project was to base our designs on the classic Rice Krispies cereal box. All the work shown is based off a specific attribute. Those attributes are represented within the type: energy, sophistication, and comfort. View my inspiration here.
Final box dimensions are 11.7" x 7.75" x 2.5"
Energy: I wanted the focus of this design to be toward the iconic "Snap. Crackle. Pop" and by using different font sizes, the word Pop really jumps out in front of you. Therefore, creating a design that represents energy.
Sophistication: By keeping the colors very neutral and simple, it added an attribute of class. I wanted the light grey color to make it look like the text was embossed onto the box.
Comfort: Warm toned colors are colors that remind me of relaxation and support. The connections of the thick lines represents comfort because they are there for one another.
